Art ES - Mrs. Reisman

Hello, my name is Kelly Reisman and I am the art teacher here at Allegany-Limestone Elementary School. Throughout the year, I plan on introducing students to a wide variety of art mediums, including watercolor, tempera paint, oil and chalk pastels, clay and other exciting materials. The art room is a safe space to explore these mediums and get a little messy.

Students will learn the elements of art, which are:  line, shape, color, value, space, texture and form, all while learning about influential artists. Each year, students will build upon their collaboration skills, creative problem-solving skills, and sense of creativity. I will encourage students to use art vocabulary during table and classroom discussions. It is my expectation that all students will treat each other with respect.
