Classroom Management

Resource Room and Consultant Teacher

All students in this classroom are expected to behave in a way that shows respect for themselves and others at all times.  Throughout their junior and senior year all students will work to develop greater academic independence and self-advocacy skills needed post high school.

Students will be expected to come prepared with appropriate materials and a positive attitude.  Depending on the day and individual student needs, class time may be spent doing any one of the following individually or in small groups:

  • Reviewing/re-teaching content concepts
  • Test/Quiz review
  • Study Strategies
  • Test taking strategies
  • Time management strategies
  • Organizational Skills
  • IEP goal work
  • College/job/scholarship- application paperwork
