Welcome to 8th Grade Science!
-
In 8th grade science, students will expand the skills and knowledge they have learned in 6th and 7th grade science. Topics will include: Forces and Motion, Waves, Astronomy, Reproduction, and Evolution. This course also includes a 5-8th science review for the NYS 8th grade Intermediate level exam. We will apply the scientific method to solve problems, design and construct models, and use hands-on learning to further understanding. Units are split up by the different textbooks we have.
