Hello Allegany-Limestone families.
Governor Cuomo has issued an executive order extending the closure of schools through April 28th. The following message will go over meal and instructional delivery schedules.
On Thursday, April 9th a double meal delivery will take place. There will be no meal delivery on Friday April 10th.
Beginning the week of April 13th and moving forward, meal deliveries will take place on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays with double meal deliveries taking place on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Work drop off or pick up for Elementary and Middle High school students will occur on Tuesday, April 14th. Work drop off and pick up will occur every Tuesday for both schools. Pick up at the schools will be the regular times of 11:30 to 1 and regular times for bus drop delivery.
Please call you child’s respective school with any questions.

Hello ALCS Community:
As a District, we want to thank you for all your support as we all navigate this strange time.
We know this is an overwhelming time of uncertainty and confusion. At ALCS, we truly believe that we are ALL ONE and we are doing our best every day to support the families in our community. Classroom teachers, administrators, and staff are communicating daily with students and families through phone calls, emails, and other technology applications. Each day, cafeteria staff are preparing over 500 lunch and breakfast meals to be provided to families within our district. Transportation staff are traveling throughout the district to deliver meals and instructional materials. Support staff are assisting with distribution of meals and preparing instructional materials to go home to students.
All school districts have been provided guidance by the state to ensure continuity of instruction. Our educators are working hard to provide instruction, materials and activities to all students that will continue to move students towards mastery of content. We also understand that this is a new way of learning and we truly appreciate all you are doing to support your child(ren). You were always your student’s first teachers and you continue to be a driving force in their education.
Supporting student success at home can be a challenge. Here are some tips that have been proven to work:

The 3rd marking period ends on April 3, 2020. All work submitted by students as of March 13 (our last day in session prior to closure) will count for the 3rd marking period.
The 4th marking period will cover instruction and work completed after March 16 – the end of June. We are truly striving to ensure continuity of education for all students to the best of our abilities.
