     PLEASE READ: INFORMATION RELATED TO ONLINE LEARNING

    Dear Students & Families,

         As we move forward under the circumstances we’ve been given, teachers have been preparing online curriculum so that our students are able to maintain the required content at each grade level.  In an effort to assist the students with their lessons in either Global 9 or US History, I have utilized the same format that we have used throughout the year.

         All lessons, instructions and resources will be posted on OneNote.  The PowerPoints and some activities will have an audio portion added to them to assist with understanding.  All access will remain the same, but I will begin posting assignments with dates and instructions attached beginning Thursday, March 19, 2020.

         In addition, OneNote and all necessary material on OneNote, can be easily accessed on cell phones by downloading the OneNote app, the PowerPoint app and the Word app.  If internet access is an issue, this may be an easy alternative for obtaining, viewing and even printing important information or assignments

          If you do not have access to the internet, there are pick up / drop off times for work; please notify me if arrangements need to be made, or you know someone else who might need assistance.  Otherwise, when turning in assignments, they can be copy and pasted, or inserted as a file to a OneNote page that was assigned to each student.

            Questions or concerns can be emailed to me, or students can also access communication with me through the REMIND texts that they signed up for at the beginning of the year.  REMIND is a great way for me to send out quick reminders or information on assignments & for the students to access communication with me.  If a student did not originally sign up for REMIND, I would encourage them to do it now.

    To sign up, TEXT one of the codes below to 81010:

                   For students in Global 9

                    @2e46a3

                  For students in US History

                    @4g2428

     In addition, I will hold ZOOM sessions to review assignments, answer questions or clarify directions.  If you would like to speak with me via ZOOM for an issue, I will be available.

        I know that this may not be the chosen path for instruction, however, these options allow us to move forward and to continue to prepare ourselves for our class requirements; even when there are many other issues that remain unclear at this time.  By dedicating some time everyday to instruction, the requirements will be easily achieved.

    Thank you,

    Mrs. Christopher
