'Friends of Rachel Club'
I started the 'Friends of Rachel' club in honor of Rachel Joy Scott, the first victim of the Columbine High School Massacre on April 20, 1999. Following her tragic death, the words, "I have this theory that if one person can go out of their way to show compassion, then it will start a chain reaction of the same. People will never know how far a little kindness can go," was found in a two-page essay that Rachel wrote one month before the incident. Rachel dreamt of dedicating her life to helping as many people as she could through the power of compassion. Her family want to make this dream a reality, thus creating Rachel's Challenge.
Our club performs random acts of kindness in our school and community!

I reside in Allegany with my husband, Mike, daughter, Chloee, son, Chance, and we cannot forget our dogs, Carlee and Bleu!

My daughter, Chloee, is a student at Keuka College, and my son, Chance, is a student and soccer player at Fredonia State University.
