6th Grade Band

Band: meets every other day, 6th period, b/d days.  Students should come to class on time and be prepared with their instrument.

Lessons: Students will be pulled out of class once a week on a rotating schedule.  They will not miss the same class twice in a row.  If you miss a lesson, you can make them up during 6th period a/c days.

I will post a lesson schedule in the hallways as well as send it out in teams each week. Please check that schedule weekly.

Concerts are December 7th & May 9 @ 7pm

Band:  Meets once a week on Wednesdays from 8-8:39.  Please come to class on time and prepared with your instrument.

Lessons:  You will get pulled out of class once a week on a rotating schedule.  You will not get pulled out of the same class 2 times in a row.  I will post the schedule every week outside of your classroom in the hall.  Please check that every week.

Concerts will be on January 18th & May 9th.  Both concerts will be held at the M/HS auditorium at 7pm.

State competition - April 13, 2024 in Syracuse at the NYS fairgrounds

Even if your child is not riding the bus, you need to fill out this form (not the permission slip).  The cost to ride the bus will be $35 this season for 8 weeks.  This does not include the Wednesday over Presidents Day week.  Please make checks out to Allegany- Limestone Central School.

Reminder, just like any other school activity, you CANNOT get your own transportation to the mountain and expect to be on the bus for the ride home. 

However, If you are not riding the bus home, you must give an advisor written consent before 3pm that day.
