4th Grade Science

Fourth Grade Science is taught using a website called Mystery Science. Each topic includes several weeks of various explorations of items related to the main topic. A typical science lesson begins with a background building video, followed by some kind of hands-on/interactive lesson, and then followed up with discussion, demonstration, or assessment of their understanding of the topic. 

Human Body, Vision, & the Brain

In this unit, students investigate the structures and functions of the human body. 

Earth's Features and Processes

In this unit, students investigate features and processes of the Earth’s surface.

Sound Waves and Communication 

In this unit, students investigate the science of sound. 

Energy, Energy Transfer, & Electricity

In this unit, students explore energy.
