    INTEGRATED ALGEBRA

     

    COURSE DESCRIPTION:

    Students will study the fundamental concepts of algebra. Topics include equation solving, polynomial operations, graphing functions, probability, statistics, and applications. An approved graphing calculator is required. Students can borrow one from the school by signing a contract.
     
     

    STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES:

    After successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

    1. Perform basic operations with polynomials and radicals.
    2. Solve linear equations and systems of equations.
    3. Use equations to solve word problems.
    4. Graph linear and quadratic functions.
    5. Understand and use the concepts of statistics and probability.
    6. Utilize graphing calculators to solve various problems.
